Hello

I'm Srivathsan Ramanujam, a high school student in San Jose, and welcome to my website.

I've been passionate about conservation, sustainability and the use of technology to study impact of climate change . Over the years, I have developed skills in photography, drone survey, mapping driven by my passion for nature, aviation.  Ultimately this led to creation of Norcal conservation student alliance where we support professional researchers in environmental research with actionable mapping, survey data.

We strive to provide high quality and meaningful support data to help wetland conservation efforts in the fragile Northern california ecosystem. We presented our findings in Fremont, San Jose City Councils, Environmental Sustainability Commission and Bay Conservation Development Commission (BCDC) meetings to influence policy decisions impacting wetlands.

Published my research on “Degradation of Baylands Ecological Density and Flood Risk in the San Francisco Bay: A UAS-Based Study”.  Presented research findings at the prestigious “State of the San Francisco Estuary Conference” which brings together leading scientists, policy makers, and environmental professionals.
